{Mermaid Tails Birthday}

Once again I am really honored to have been given the opportunity to work for this family.  I've been doing parties for them for quite some time now, and every time I think we create something even more stunning!  Our little girl wanted a Mermaid party.  The inspiration is a mermaid tail her mom got for her.  I immediately knew the color scheme I wanted for this celebration.  A color combo of aqua, mint, salmon and rose.  This has got to be one of my new favorite parties!

Every girl invited would get her own mermaid tail as a party favor, so I already knew we needed to prepare a table for the girls.  Each chair was decorated with a personalized sign with their name and of course, their tails.  Centerpieces included seashells, corals, pearls, flowers, you name it.  A delicate and simple display of ocean inspired items.  Each table setting included aqua plates, a personalized water bottle and a cookie, along with some fab wooden cutlery.

The background for our main table was simple yet fabulous.  I used yards of ribbon in our coordinating colors over cream colored fabric framed by two giant balloons with handmade tassels.  The banner and garland in the middle was the perfect accent.

Tons of desserts and props were featured in this extravagant sweets table. A huge mermaid tail, corals, starfish, pearls and gold frames gave the finishing touches to a vast array of decadent desserts and candy.  A gorgeous cake and cupcakes take front center in this beautiful table.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures just as I loved creating this party!
